Woke up in a comfortable bed for the second day in a row. Anymore of this and I might reconsider heading back out into the wilderness.
Had a wonderful breakfast prepared by my trail angel host, and after packing up all my belongings we headed back out to the trail.
Started walking around 1000, spent most of the morning walking through state owned park land. Beautifully cleared and blazed section, kudos to the trail maintainers in this section.
Hot day today, hotter than it's been in quite a few days. Water wasn't plentiful, and with the hot weather I ended up not drinking enough.
Stopped for a quick lunch, more to lighten my pack rather than hunger. Was able to resupply at an actual grocery store yesterday, so I packed out five days of food instead of trying to have to deal with another convenience store resupply.
Hiked until the sun went down, and set up my tent just as the last rays were fading. Mosquitos are out in force this afternoon and as soon as the sun started to set they became relentless.
Camped tonight in a small clearing underneath a canopy of trees on local Boy Scout land. Beautiful piece of land they have.
