Left Mike's early before anyone else was awake. Truly is a solid way to make miles in the desert without having to carry a lot of water.
Been trending to hiking straight through the day lately. No siestas, no lunch stops, just gobble down breakfast and eat bars the rest of the day.
Hit a few proper water caches today. Pretty amazing that people volunteer their time to bring water out to remote locations for hikers.
Came across a ton of hikers throughout the day. I know I've said it before, but there are so many people out here heading north.
Ended the day at a small cafe a mile from the trail. Finally caught up to a hiker I met on the Long Trail last year who is out on the PCT this summer. As the hikers started piling in we all sat around eating dinner and chatting about hiker stuff.
Cafe allows hikers to camp on their property, so camp we all shall.
